The Atlanta Braves should be looking to add new talent to their roster this offseason.

After losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS, it is clear that the Braves need to strengthen their roster if they hope to be true contenders next year. Now, with the start of the MLB offseason approaching, the Braves are viewed as a potential landing spot for one of baseball's top pending free agents.

In a recent article for The Athletic, Jim Bowden named the Braves among the best fits for Seattle Mariners star outfielder Randy Arozarena in free agency this offseason.

The Braves being linked to Arozarena is not too challenging to understand. Atlanta needs another star outfielder to solidify their roster, and Arozarena is one of the top outfielders who can hit the free agent market this offseason. Thus, it would not be surprising whatsoever if he is one of the players who the Braves are monitoring heading into the offseason.

If the Braves signed Arozarena, he could slot perfectly on their roster. He would give Atlanta another impactful power hitter as they aim to keep their contention window open. Thus, there could be a good match here between the Braves and Arozarena.

When looking at Arozarena's 2026 season, it is clear that he would be a major pickup for the Braves if signed. In 154 games this season with the Mariners, he posted 26 home runs, 27 stolen bases, 79 RBI, and a .281 batting average.
