Matchgoing supporters often pay the price when television networks step in to pick their winter schedules. And this latest batch of updates for match rounds 13 to 16 is no exception. Two huge London derbies on home turf have been shifted out of the traditional Saturday afternoon window. On top of that, fans planning to follow the team up north face a tough Monday night journey and a late Saturday evening kick-off on Merseyside. Every single game across this three-week spell will now air live on Sky Sports.
The rearranged run starts under the floodlights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Fulham will visit the stadium for a rare Thursday night clash on 3 December at 8 pm. That late midweek finish leaves the players with a very tight turnaround before welcoming fierce rivals Arsenal to N17 just three days later. The North London derby will now take place on Sunday 6 December, kicking off in the headline 4.30 pm slot.

Once those two home derbies are out of the way, Tottenham hit the road for back-to-back away tests. Spurs trip to face Hull City has been pushed to Monday 14 December for an 8 pm kick-off. Five days later, the squad head to Anfield to take on Liverpool. That heavyweight meeting stays on Saturday 19 December, though the kick-off has been nudged back to 5.30 pm.
