Will the Baltimore Ravens be on the field Sunday for Week 9?
The Ravens already played their ninth game of the season, losing 33-10 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football. Baltimore dropped to 4-5 with its fourth consecutive defeat, continuing a difficult stretch after opening the season 4-1. Rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano struggled in his first NFL start, completing 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards and two interceptions, while Justice Hill provided the team’s only touchdown on a 65-yard fourth-quarter run.
While Baltimore is off Sunday, a full slate of games follows before the Ravens return against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night in Week 10. Here is a look back at Thursday’s loss and Baltimore’s 2026 schedule.
Baltimore could not generate enough offense to keep pace with Jacksonville, finishing with 227 total yards and converting four of 14 third-down opportunities. The Ravens rushed for 172 yards, but their limited passing production and three turnovers prevented them from consistently threatening the Jaguars.
The problems extended beyond the offense. Baltimore committed seven penalties, including four false starts, and lost safety Kyle Hamilton to a hip injury. Hill’s late touchdown ended an extended second-half scoring drought, but the Ravens already were facing a deficit they could not overcome. The additional preparation time now becomes an opportunity to address the mistakes contributing to their slide.
Baltimore hosts Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 16, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN. The matchup gives the Ravens 11 days between games as they attempt to end their losing streak.
This weekend is a mini bye following Thursday Night Football. Baltimore’s scheduled bye comes in Week 13, after games against the Chargers, Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans.
