Cristo Reyes made headlines on the PDC ProTour once again on Wednesday. The Spaniard hit a nine-darter in his first-round match against Cor Dekker at Players Championship 31. It was the third perfect leg of the season for “The Spartan”.

Reyes made a strong start to his opening match and had built a 4–1 lead when he produced a remarkable moment in the sixth leg. The Tenerife thrower opened with two consecutive 180s, leaving just 141 points after six darts. His next three darts all found their target, too. Reyes completed the nine-darter with a 141 checkout to claim another perfect leg.

Reyes enjoying a strong season

This was not the first time Reyes has hit a perfect leg this year. The Spaniard had already thrown two nine-darters earlier in the season, taking his tally to three on Wednesday.

Reyes has also enjoyed an excellent season in terms of results and prize money. The Spaniard has already earned more than £100,000 in ranking prize money in 2026, making significant progress in the PDC rankings.

Reyes recently competed at the European Darts Championship in Dortmund. He has also secured his place at the Players Championship Finals and the World Darts Championship.
