The Boston Bruins are back at home, and they hit the ice this morning ahead of their second divisional matchup this season.

The Bruins will take on the Florida Panthers tomorrow afternoon. While Jeremy Swayman is expected to start, Michael DiPietro has proven the Bruins right in trading Joonas Korpisalo this summer. It’s still early, but DiPietro has won his last four games, and his .925 SV% is in the top five league-wide.

The Bruins also have an NHL veteran who continues to tear up the AHL.

Elsewhere around the league, there’s some drama with both Matvei Michkov and Rick Tocchet in Philadelphia, and the Penguins are getting ready to make some trades. There are some landing spots for the reigning Hart Trophy winner, and more news on the two Red Wings trade pieces. Ryan Warsofsky referenced six-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick, and Sheldon Keefe questioned the NHL’s enforcement of the instigator penalty.

Happy Saturday, catch up on Bruins and league news in today’s Daily Bean:

There’s also a social media campaign in Philly to fly a plane that says “Fire Tocchet” … and they’ve raised over $5,000.
