Raiders add 2 tackles, cut former first round pick

The work along the offensive line continues for the Raiders. Monday they signed two tackles to the practice squad, one a former Seahawks player, the other a former mid-round pick. And in two corresponding moves, they cut TE Chris Myarick and former Giants first round guard Evan Neal.

The tackles they brought in are Amari Kight and Darian Kinnard.

Kight was with the Seahawks last season, which is how Klint Kubiak knows him. He appeared in four games last season as an undrafted rookie out of Central Florida.

Kinnard entered the league in 2022 as a round five pick by the Kansas City Chiefs out of Kentucky. He's bounced around the league a bit, but landed in Green Bay last season where he appeared in every game, starting four.

As to the two players who were cut, Myarick spent camp with the Raiders, and was likely seen as expendable with Carter Runyon coming back from injured reserve soon. Neal was signed back on September 3 in the hopes the former seventh overall pick could contribute. His release shows why the former Alabama star hasn't played an NFL snap since 2024.
