Arizona Cardinals try out QB, 3 RB, 3 WR

The Arizona Cardinals are preparing for some roster moves, and they held a number of tryouts on Tuesday. With moves on the active roster and practice squad, we can expect

In all, they had seven players in to try out — one quarterback, three running backs and three receivers.

Having receivers and running backs in make sense. They lost Jeremiyah Love and Kendrick Bourne to injured reserve. However, a quarterback could be simply to work out with the receivers and running backs. Or it could be preparing to need a quarterback on the practice squad in the case that Jacoby Brissett is traded this week.

Bradley worked out for the Cardinals in July of 2025. He has spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars. He signed as a rookie free agent with the Raiders in 2024 after playing collegiately four years for Toledo and two for South Alabama.

Bentley is 5-10 and 200 pounds. He was released last week from the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. He also bounced between the practice squad and active roster of the Indianapolis Colts in 2025. He appeared in one game for the Colts in 2025.

Jefferson spent time with the Cardinals on their practice squad and active roster last season. He appeared in two games, playing six snaps on special teams. Jefferson was a seventh-round pick in 2021 of the Detroit Lions. He is 5-10 and 215 pounds. For four years, he bounced between the practice squad and the active roster of the Lions. He has 96 career rushing yards on 21 attempts in nine career games.

He went undrafted this year out of Michigan State and spent time with the Baltimore Ravens in the offseason.

Johnson was drafted in 2020 in the fifth round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has played for the Bucs, Houston Texans, LA Rams and New York Jets.

He has 88 career catches for 1,025 yards and five touchdowns.

Manjack is an undrafted rookie who played last season for TCU. He also spent a season at USC and three at Houston. He is 6-3 and 205 pounds and had 134 receptions for 1,732 yards and 13 touchdowns in college. He signed originally with the Denver Broncos but was cut before the season.

Thrash is six feet tall and 190 pounds. He was on the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squad last month. He played for the Cleveland Browns in 2024-25, appearing in 18 games. He has 13 career catches for 129 yards.
