The Chicago Bears defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 31-23, in Week 6. Here are the best and worst performances, per Pro Football Focus.
The Chicago Bears dominated the Atlanta Falcons in a 31-23 win, which featured the returns of quarterback Caleb Williams and cornerback Kyler Gordon, who both played key roles in Chicago's fourth win of the season.
It was a much needed performance from the Bears as a whole on Sunday, especially after the debacle in Green Bay, where the Packers took it to Chicago in an ugly blowout loss. The Bears were boosted by three big returns which saw quarterback Caleb Williams, offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo, and defensive back Kyler Gordon, two of the three which played at a superb level on Sunday in Atlanta.
There were a number of good and bad performances in this impressive win. Here are the best and worst performers, according to Pro Football Focus:
WR Luther Burden III: 79.2
C Garrett Bradbury: 73.4
WR Zavion Thomas: 72.9
RG Jonah Jackson: 72.5
RB D'Andre Swift: 68.9
Luther Burden continues to thrive in his second season in the Bears passing game, and was the top offensive performer for the team in the win over Atlanta. D'Andre Swift had another strong showing, where he took care of the football, and once again, multiple starting offensive linemen shined as well. Jonah Jackson was one of those linemen, but he suffered an injury to his hip, which will make his status one to monitor on a short week turnaround.
RT Darnell Wright: 51.6
TE Sam Roush: 51.7
LT Ozzy Trapilo: 56.0
WR Jahdae Walker: 56.5
TE Cole Kmet: 56.9
Jahdae Walker had multiple bad penalties, one that led to his ejection when he headbutted an opposing Falcons player, putting a big damper on his decision making in Week 6. Darnell Wright ending up on this list might be the biggest shocker of them all, while Ozzy Trapilo was being rotated in throughout the game, he didn't get many opportunities to have his impact be a big one.
CB Kyler Gordon: 95.3
CB Josh Blackwell: 86.5
LB Devin Bush: 82.7
LB Noah Sewell: 82.2
LB Jack Sanborn: 81.1
Kyler Gordon may have had one of the best individual performances of the 2026 NFL season, in his season debut on Sunday. Compiling four tackles, three tackles for loss, three sacks, two quarterback hits, and a forced fumble, Gordon was absolutely everywhere on the field while playing just 17 snaps. Josh Blackwell played well on special teams, and Devin Bush continues to thrive as one of the best free-agent signings from this past offseason.
CB Nick McCloud: 35.6
S Dillon Thieneman: 42.5
DT Jordan van den Berg: 45.3
S Cam Lewis: 45.7
DT Neville Gallimore: 47.0
Dillon Thieneman has had a rough stretch over the last two weeks, but he's still in his rookie season and Chicago has plenty to figure out with their secondary. The team is still struggling to have high-level play at the safety position, which the same could be said about the defensive tackle position.
