Despite manager Neil McCann's positivity about improving performances, bottom-placed Kilmarnock have still only won once in seven outings.

If they are to beat Motherwell for the first time in five meetings, they will have to improve home form that has them joint bottom with Hibs for points won and chance conversion, joint bottom with Aberdeen for fewest goals and top for goals conceded.

Motherwell, though, arrive having only won once in nine themselves, losing four in a row, and surely with the honeymoon period beginning to run out for new manager Alfred Johansson despite early plaudits for continuing the lauded style of play under Jens Berthel Askou.

Hibs manager Marink Reedjijk tells BBC Scotland he wants Easter Road to be more of a fortress, starting today with his Leith debut.

"I'm very much looking forward to having the first game at Easter Road for myself and the staff as well," he says. "I'm looking forward to seeing where we're at as well compared to last week.

"It's important to win, but it's also important we show a certain braveness, front-foot defending, front-foot attacking and that we have an atmosphere in the stadium, which is like Easter Road has to be."

Despite club captain Martin Boyle regaining his place in the starting XI, Felix Passlack retains the armband for the visit of Falkirk, as he did at Tannadice last week.

"Felix did a very good job last week. I spoke with Martin about this, so we're going to continue in this way. At the moment, I see Felix as the captain on the pitch," Reejijk added.
