Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston off injury report, set to play vs. Chiefs

The Chargers will have two key receivers back for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Ladd McConkey (foot) and Quentin Johnston (chest) are both off the injury report and are set to play Week 6.

Both receivers were out for last week’s loss to the Broncos. McConkey has 12 receptions for 183 yards with a touchdown in four games this season. Johnston has seven receptions for 108 yards in four games.

The Chargers have ruled out safety Derwin James (hamstring), offensive tackle Joe Alt (neck), guard Kayode Awosika (fibula), receiver Tre Harris (hamstring), and cornerback Donte Jackson (hamstring).

Cornerback Rodney Shelley (hamstring) is doubtful after he didn’t practice over the last two days.

Defensive lineman Jamaree Caldwell (knee), outside linebacker Bud Dupree (neck), linebacker Daiyan Henley (knee), receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith (hamstring), receiver Brenen Thompson (quad), and defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson (hamstring) are all questionable.

Defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe (shoulder), tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm), defensive back Elijah Molden (hamstring), receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (rib), and safety Kendall Williamson (ankle) are also off the injury report and are set to play.

The Chargers are trying to avoid starting 0-6 for the first time since 2000.
