The Lions lead the Packers 10-7 at halftime, but they had a chance to make it more before halftime.

Detroit drove 85 yards on 12 plays to the Green Bay 12 before Jahmyr Gibbs fumbled at the 8. Gibbs had the ball knocked out of his hand by his teammate, center Cade Mays. Linebacker Isaiah McDuffie recovered for the Packers with 19 seconds left in the half.

It was the Lions’ second turnover this season, their first since Gibbs lost a fumble in Week 1.

The Packers stopped themselves, too, going 3-for-4 on fourth down in the first half, but the miss was a big one. They reached the Detroit 7 and faced a fourth-and-4. Instead of kicking the field goal, Matt LaFleur opted to go for it and Jordan Love threw a short pass to Matthew Golden, who was stopped for no gain.

The Lions have outgained the Packers 239 to 206.

Jared Goff is 13-of-17 for 204 yards and a touchdown, a 16-yard throw to Jameson Williams. Amon-Ra St. Brown has seven receptions for 135 yards. Gibbs has nine carries for 37 yards and three catches for 18 yards.

Goff has passed Derek Carr (41,245) for the third-most passing yards through 11-career seasons in NFL history.

Love is 16-of-26 for 191 yards and a touchdown, a 14-yard throw to tight end Tucker Kraft. Seven players have at leat one catch. Packers running back Josh Jacobs has five carries for 8 yards in his 2026 debut. He returned from paid leave this week.

Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle) is questionable to return. The Packers lost their top two centers on the opening drive, and Sean Rhyan (ankle) and Jacob Monk (quad) are questionable to return.
