Monkton Swifts fight back from 2-0 down to win 3-2

It was one of only two Division 2 games to be played on Saturday because of the bad weather.

This game was played at Greenhill School and New Hedges took the lead in the second minute thanks to a goal from Adam Carlier.

Adam Davidson then scored moments later to give his side an early 2-0 lead.

On the stroke of half time, Jack Clarke scored for the Swifts to get the visitors back in the game.

Five minutes into the second half, Dylan Davies scored to bring the Swifts level.

Davies scored again soon after to put the Swifts into the lead for the first time.

New Hedges had Oran Guile sent off late on, and Monkton were able to hold on for the win.

Saturday's other game saw Pendine beat Solva 6-2.

Lewis Langdon put Pendine ahead midway through the first half, and further goals from Calum Syddall and Joel Beynon gave their side a 3-0 half time lead.

Syddall scored again early in the second half and Kyran Lewis made it 5-0 soon after.

Pendine sub Harry Gillard added the sixth with 20 minutes still to play.

Solva did not give up despite the conditions and scored twice late on with goals from Harry Elliot and captain Kieran Price.

Pendine had Langdon sent off following the final whistle, but the win moves them up to second place in the Division 2 table.
