Hornets guard Dennis Schroder makes unique history during win vs. Heat

After being acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers in August, point guard Dennis Schroder had his best game with the Charlotte Hornets Saturday, posting 25 points, six rebounds and four assists against the Heat. In doing so, the German international once again cemented himself in NBA history as one of the league's best journeymen.

With the performance, Schroder has now scored 25 points or more for nine different NBA teams. Those being Charlotte, Cleveland, Sacramento, Brooklyn, Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles (Lakers), Oklahoma City and Atlanta. Schroder has also played for the Pistons, Warriors and Rockets, but suited up in 30 games or less for each franchise.

Throughout his 14-year career, the former FIBA World Cup gold medalist has been traded nine times, the second-most in NBA history behind Trevor Ariza. In 915 games, the reliable sixth man holds career averages of 13.7 points, 4.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals.

Looking ahead, he'll take the floor for the Hornets Monday against the Wizards, starting in place of the injured Coby White, who has yet to make his season debut.
