Film star Jude Law is to play Bill Shankly in a television series about the Scottish football legend, while Rangers edge out Celtic in the list of most valuable British squads.

Former Airdrieonians player-manager Rhys McCabe, who was made Scotland Under-16 coach last month, says Kyle Glasgow's promotion to the under-21s will inspire his contemporaries and lead to more talented prospects moving up the age-group ranks in future. (The Herald)
