Hearts beat Celtic to leapfrog hosts into second in SWPL

Reigning champions Heart of Midlothian twice came from behind to stun Celtic and move above their hosts into second place in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

Celtic got off to the ideal start, with midfielder Maria McAneny turning home a Casey Howe corner kick after only three minutes.

Ellen Dolan's long-range strike levelled just after the half-four mark.

Celtic edged back in front again, McAneny heading her second of the game four minutes later, but another two minutes, another goal as Carly Johns drew Hearts level from the penalty spot.

Dolan volleyed home her own second five minutes after the break, with fellow forward Mariana Speckmaier scoring what turned out to be the vital final goal shortly after the hour mark.

Hearts remain five points behind Rangers, who won 2-1 away to Glasgow City, while Celtic are now six adrift of their city rivals in third.
