Patriots receiver a promising fantasy flex start in Week 9

New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas is an intriguing flex option for fantasy football team managers to start in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.

With key receiving options unavailable for the Patriots, Douglas might see an increased role in the team's passing attack. His ability to create separation and generate yards after the catch makes him an appealing option to deploy.

New England will be without star wide receivers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs against the Packers, which could create additional opportunities for Douglas to contribute. The absences could open up more targets and give Douglas an opportunity to become a bigger part of the offensive game plan.

Douglas will also have to navigate the returns of Mack Hollins and possibly even Hunter Henry, if he returns from the foot injury he suffered last week. While their availability might impact his target distribution, their presence could also draw defensive attention away from him. With fresh legs and in rhythm, Douglas might capitalize on the matchup with a big performance.

Green Bay has allowed 1,767 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns this season, giving Douglas another reason to warrant flex consideration in Week 9.
