The Scarlets threatened to shock the Bulls in Pretoria before falling away late on for a 54-26 defeat.
Here's how the Scarlets players rated in South Africa...
15. Ioan Nicholas - 7
Grew into the match as the Scarlets' attack really started to tick. Once again beat defenders for fun and made things happen.
14. Archie Hughes - 6
A late change, the scrum-half was forced onto the wing. Dropped one high ball, but kept going. Almost created a score for himself out of nothing, but got his reward soon after.
13. Joe Roberts - 6
No hat-trick this week, but another big score in the second-half. Another busy performance.
12. Gabe McDonald - 6
Nice catch-and-pass for the Scarlets' first score. Loose at times, but a willing carrier.
11. Isaac Murray-MacGregor - 6
One kick out on the full early on after having a bit of space to run into, while there were a few other loose moments. But looked to get involved and showed his handling skills in the build-up to McKee's score. Lively.
10. Carwyn Leggatt-Jones - 7
Another assured performance by the young fly-half. Never hides away in attack. Lovely kick ahead for his half-back partner's disallowed score, while the movement for Hughes' try was superb.
9. Gareth Davies - 6
Held up over the line early on when there might have been better options out wide. Didn't panic though in the build-up to the Scarlets' second. Had a try of his own chalked off as he was deemed offside.

1. Corey Domachowski - 6
Great tip-on pass at the line to put Alex Groves through a gap, setting up the Scarlets' second. Managed 52 minutes on his return from injury, getting through a solid shift.
2. John McKee - 7
Another busy outing for the hooker. Lineout wasn't perfect, but he gets through a lot of work. Right place, right time for the Scarlets' first try.
3. Harri O'Connor - 5
Couple of early scrum penalties went against him, before he was forced off before the half-hour mark.
4. Tom Allen - 6
There were some nice moments on his debut. Perhaps a little slow to react in supporting Anderson in defence for Sebastian de Klerk's score.
5. Alex Groves - 6
Lovely running line in the build-up to Lousi's try. Got through a fair bit of work too.
6. Sam Lousi - 6
Seemed to switch off ahead of Willie le Roux's try, waiting for the referee to give a knock-on. Brilliant work to show up in support and stretch out for a score - although that did end his afternoon through injury.
7. Josh Macleod - 7
Big jackal in the Bulls' 22 to win a penalty right after the home side's first try. As you'd expect from the captain.
8. Fletcher Anderson - 7
As always, Anderson led the way on both sides of the ball. Some nice touches thrown in there too, including a deft pass to put Lousi over.
Replacements
16. Isaac Young - N/A
Not on for long enough to make an impact.
17. Sam O'Connor - 5
On for the last 30 minutes. Some struggles at the scrum late on.
18. Gabe Hawley - 5
On in the first-half, so had to play a lot longer than he'd expected. Needless tackle off the ball late on.
19. Harvey Cuckson - 5
One eye-catching carry through a gap, but struggled with the Bulls power late on.
20. Dan Davis - 6
On much earlier than he'd have expected. Energetic throughout.
24. Dane Blacker - 7
Brought plenty of tempo when he came on. Lovely break from deep, then played his part in Roberts' try. But little he could do as Bulls took control. Blacker was namechecked by the Wales coaches in the week and this won't have hurt his chances of a call-up in the near future.
22. Gareth Anscombe - 5
On for the last 20 minutes. Helpless to fight the Bulls' late dominance.
21. Jac Davies - 5
On for the last 10 minutes. Little time to make an impact.
