The Blues' bid to overturn both dismissals has failed.

It means both midfielders will now serve three-game bans, starting with this afternoon's game at Altrincham.

Azeez and Bunker were shown straight red cards in the first half of Wednesday's 3-0 win against Harrogate Town.

The Cumbrians confirmed their appeals on Friday in the hope the duo could avoid suspensions.

But now head coach Rob Elliot must plan without the duo for games against Altrincham, Salford City and Boston United.
