ESPN writer Nate Taylor hinted at the Kansas City Chiefs' potential interest in Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. during a radio spot on 'Fescoe and Dusty' on 96.5 The Fan ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline.

Thomas was selected by Jacksonville with the No. 23 pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft after an illustrious collegiate career with the LSU Tigers. He led the NCAA in receiving touchdowns in 2023 and earned Pro Bowl honors for his standout rookie season with the Jaguars.

Hear what Taylor had to say about a potential acquisition of Thomas by the Chiefs in this video, which was posted to Twitter by 96.5 The Fan's official account:

Kansas City has been rumored to be in the market for a new pass-catcher after injuries to Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice decimated the depth of the Chiefs' receiving corps early in the regular season, but it is too soon to tell if general manager Brett Veach will actually elect to pursue another wideout via trade.
