Manchester City host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup fourth round tonight.

Enzo Maresca's side will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa and secure their place in the quarter-final of this competition for the seventh time in 10 years. Should they win, City will discover their opponents for the last eight around an hour after their game against Brighton.

Guaranteed to be in the hat for the quarter-final are two minnows in Bradford City and Fleetwood Town. The Bantams, who are in League One, beat Peterborough United 2-0 on Tuesday, while Fleetwood stunned the footballing world by beating Premier League champions Arsenal on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Bournemouth or Aston Villa, Fulham or Crystal Palace, Sunderland or Brentford, Liverpool or Chelsea and Everton or Newcastle will join City in the hat if they win their respective fourth round ties. Manchester United, meanwhile, are OUT after losing to Brighton in the third round.

The Carabao Cup quarter-finals will be held on the week commencing Monday, December 14, with games likely to take place on the Tuesday and Wednesday of that week.

When is the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw?

The draw will to take place on Wednesday, October 28, following the fourth-round tie between Liverpool and Chelsea at Anfield.

The draw will likely get under way around 10.20pm, and will be shown live on Sky Sports and conducted by Conor Coady and Graham Le Saux.
