Cole Kmet injury update: Latest on Bears tight end after getting carted off

Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet was running with the ball after catching a pass from Caleb Williams on Thursday night, and after a hit from a pair of New England Patriots, he grabbed his knee.

He exited the game on a cart and gave the home crowd a thumbs up as he left Soldier Field. So what's the latest on the Bears vet's status?

Bears head coach Ben Johnson had this to say after the Bears' 30-24 win over the Pats: "We will know more tomorrow, but I don't think it looked very good."

Here's the thumbs up he gave to Bears fans, along with Johnson's update:

Hopefully it's not too serious, but as Johnson said, we'll know more on Friday.
