Rebounding is a vital source of fantasy points and pivotal in all category leagues. We’ve done some digging to find some players available in 50% or more of Yahoo leagues that have been getting it done on the glass over the last week.

It was mentioned previously that if one of Gafford or Dereck Lively II got injured, you would want to scoop up the healthy one. Now that they aren’t sharing the center position, Gafford is the big you want in this offense. Lively (foot) and Santi Aldama (knee) have yet to make their season debuts. Averaging 19 points and seven rebounds over his last two games, Gafford is the reliable big in this lineup, especially with the rest of the bigs injured.

Smith continues to shine filling in for the injured Nic Claxton. He averaged 10 rebounds over the last week (three games). Smith has been battling a finger injury, but he hasn’t missed any time. You should want any starting member of this coveted offense right now, as the Bulls are in the top 10 in both offensive rating and pace at the moment. For as long as Claxton is out, Smith is a must-roster.

He may only be a rookie, but Mara is already a backup big on a championship contender, averaging 18.1 minutes. The 12th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft is already averaging 5.6 rebounds on the season, and over the past week, that number is up to seven. On top of that, the 7-foot-3 center is averaging 1.7 blocks, which only adds to his fantasy production. His scoring may not be at a high level right now, but in deeper leagues, Mara is a great option for defense and rebounds.

If there’s one thing that Andre Drummond has proven over his lengthy NBA career, it’s that no matter the scoring output, he will clean the glass. New York’s new backup big man is averaging 8.7 rebounds over the last week, and 7.6 on the season. The Knicks have relied on the veteran center more than expected, especially lately. He logged 24 minutes in their season-opener (12 points, 14 rebounds), and while he hasn’t hit that mark since, Drummond is averaging 13.7 minutes over his last four games. There may be a few guards to come off New York’s bench before Drummond, but he’s the first in the frontcourt to see time outside of the starting five.

A 2025-26 season without Tyrese Haliburton saw plenty of Indiana players get more opportunities. He’s out once again with a hamstring injury, but even with a season-opening return, Walker’s minutes have barely decreased. Most recently, he logged a career-high 45 minutes against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Walker is averaging 24.6 on the season, and in turn, 7.9 points and 6.1 rebounds. The fourth-year forward can play in and out of the paint, making him a versatile fantasy option who can still grab boards.
