Caleb Williams and Chicago Bears try to remain hot in Week 9

The hottest team in the NFL will get a chance to improve its impressive record in primetime games this week. Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears have made the best NFL defenses look silly, and now their defense is turning the corner at the right time. Both of those notions will stay true this week on Sunday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Here is how Week 9 will pan out for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears:

Caleb Williams and the Bears' offense heads into the off week hot

The Chicago Bears have been blazing hot the last few weeks. Caleb Williams has been the biggest reason for that, with how elite he has been. I do not think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have put a stop to that. Caleb Williams will have another stellar passing performance and lead the Bears to 30 points on the board, enough for another impressive win.

Colston Loveland will have his breakout game

Colston Loveland's play has been more encouraging as of late. Against the Buccaneers, he will finally have that elite tight end type of game. This is a game where he is going to feast, and he will help Caleb Williams get the best of Todd Bowles' defense. I think Loveland will have 8 catches for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Austin Booker thrives in new role

Austin Booker, with the addition of Jeffery Simmons, has had pressure taken off his shoulders and less attention on him. He can now go out there in games and just play. That will be huge for a young player like him. I think he gets his 5th sack of the season against the Buccaneers, and he racks up a couple of tackles for a loss. He will play with new confidence.

Montez Sweat looks like an elite pass rusher

There were already glimpses of what Jeffery Simmons was going to do for Montez Sweat off the edge on Monday night. Sweat should have had 3 sacks against the Seahawks if it were not for the penalties. I think on Sunday night, Sweat will get closer to that production with a 2-sack game. He will be unstoppable and a big star for the Bears' defense.

Malik Muhammad gets second interception of the season

Malik Muhammad is returning this week, and in his rookie season, he has been the Bears' best corner outside of Kyler Gordon. He will provide the Bears with improved play in the back end this Sunday night. With the Bears' defensive line taking a huge step forward, that will open the door for Muhammad to get an interception. Baker Mayfield is no stranger to poor mistakes; I think Muhammad will get his 2nd interception of the season this week.
