Barcelona hosts Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on Sunday, looking to rebound from its first loss of the season. The Balugrana will be heading into the latest edition of El Clásico with some injuries along the back line.
Barcelona has won all nine La Liga matches and sits six points clear of Madrid at the top. Tuesday's 4-2 loss at PSG in the Champions League ended its perfect run in all competitions.
Hansi Flick will be without Jules Koundé, Dani Olmo, Eric García and Andreas Christensen, leaving him thin in defense once again.
Here is how Barcelona could line up against Real Madrid:
Flick should stick with the back four that started in Paris, with Xavi Espart at right back. Fermín should step into Olmo's role behind Raphinha.
Olmo injured his left adductor in a collision with an opponent during the loss to PSG. Barcelona expects him to miss around a month.
Flick lamented the timing of the injury at his pre-match press conference."Olmo was in a really good place. He was fit and at 100%. He's been unlucky, but we have to accept it. We'll miss him," said the Barcelona coach.
