Tobias Harris injury update for Spurs on NBA opening day

San Antonio will tip off its 2026-27 NBA season on Tuesday. The Spurs will host Oklahoma City at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Tipoff between the Spurs and Thunder is slated for 9:30 p.m. EDT. NBC will televise the season opener.

An injury report was released Monday for the San Antonio-Oklahoma City game. Forward Tobias Harris is listed as out for the Spurs (left calf strain).

The former Vol is in his 15th season in the NBA. He agreed to a two-year, $31 million deal with San Antonio in July.

Harris played at Tennessee during the 2010-11 season under head coach Bruce Pearl. In his one season with the Vols, he averaged 15.3 points and 7.3 assists per game. Harris was selected in the first round of the 2011 NBA draft (No. 19 overall) by the Bobcats.

Otega Oweh (right achilles tendon repair/surgery), Thomas Sorber (right knee surgery) and Nikola Topic (lower back surgery) are also listed as out for Oklahoma City on Tuesday at San Antonio.
