Australia women are set to host New Zealand women for a three-match T20I series starting Sunday, October 18. All three matches of the series will be played at the North Sydney Oval in Sydney and will begin at 7:15pm local time (1:45pm IST, 9:15am UK time).

Australia are fretting over Phoebe Litchfield’s fitness, but they have been boosted by their captain Sophie Molineux’s return, while Lucy Hamilton has also been declared fit to feature in the series. The world champions are at full strength and will be keen on starting the series on a high.

As for New Zealand, they will miss their legendary cricketers, Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine and Lea Tahuhu, who retired from international cricket at the end of the World Cup in July this year.

However, the visitors welcome back off-spinner Eden Carson, who was on the sidelines since undergoing elbow surgery in December 2025. Apart from her, Bella James, Molly Penfold and Hannah Rowe have also been included in New Zealand’s squad.
