Yaroslav Amosov is officially in the deep end of the UFC welterweight division.

A former Bellator champion, Amosov (30-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) will face former UFC title challenger Ian Machado Garry (17-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 295 on Dec. 5 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – and it'll be five rounds.

The promotion announced the headliner and card during Saturday's UFC Fight Night 293 broadcast.

Amosov, 33, has dazzled thus far in his UFC career, bowling over Neil Magny and Joel Alvarez since signing with the promotion in 2025. A Ukrainian military veteran, Amosov rose to notoriety during his 8-1 run for Bellator, during which he fought for his country against Russia and won welterweight gold. His lone loss was a November 2023 upset defeat to Jason Jackson.

Garry, 28, is set to compete for the first time since his failed title bid at UFC 330 in August when he lost a unanimous decision to champion Islam Makhachev. The loss came after back-to-back wins over Carlos Prates and Belal Muhammad.
