Man United stars unhappy with new club rule they agreed to by signing waivers

Manchester United believe Amazon cameras are having a significant impact on their wretched start to the season, a new report claims.

United have won just two games in all competitions and are currently 14th in the Premier League with six points going into the clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday promoted Lisandro Martinez to produce a scathing post-match interview where he called out director of football Jason Wilcox

The Argentine has since apologised for the interview and issued a fine by the club.

Man United stars blame Amazon documentary for poor form

But a new report from The Sun claims that United players believe the Amazon documentary currently being filmed is not helping their situation.

The 13-time Premier League winners are the latest club to be featured in the 'All of Nothing' behind the scenes series.

The unprecedented access means cameras are present everywhere and it's claimed players are hesitant to say how they really feel in the dressing room.

A source told the newspaper that players see the cameras as a "pain" and added that "the players and the managers aren’t being as open as they could be about what has been going wrong and what needs to be done to fix it".

Man United stars signed waivers ahead of 2026/27 season

United players have a commitment to the 'All or Nothing' documentary and are unable to refuse filming.

That's because Amazon paid United around £10 million to be able to film the latest iteration of the fly on the wall programme, which has covered Manchester City, Spurs and Arsenal in the past.

Jurgen Klopp infamously refused an Amazon documentary as he believed there would be no benefit and felt "hat people’s behaviour changes when they are on camera”.

The Daily Mail reported that United's players signed waivers which granted Amazon permission to film in private areas.

Journalists also agreed, with their questions at Michael Carrick's press conferences likely to be included.

Toby Craig, Man United's communications chief, explained why the club made the decision to pull down the curtain and allow fans to see everything.

"Now is the right time to open our doors, so that for the first time our fans around the world can see behind the scenes of a club which means so much to so many people," he stated.

“This documentary will showcase Manchester United’s unique people, ambition and culture; from the iconic atmosphere at Old Trafford to the work that goes on behind the scenes every day at Carrington.

"We will share some of the stories of this historic club both with our fans and new audiences around the world as we compete at the highest level, both domestically and in the Champions League.”
