Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest - Meet referee Thomas Bramall

The Sheffield-based official was last in charge of the Blues in the 2023/24 season when Kieran McKenna's side beat Millwall 3-1 in the Championship.

First-half goals from Conor Chaplin, Massimo Luongo and Nathan Broadhead saw Town to a comfortable victory over the Lions at Portman Road in November 2023.

OVERALL TOWN RECORD

Bramall, who has officiated in the top flight since 2022, has officiated just four Town games in total.

The other three are...

  • 1-1 home draw with Sunderland in December 2021 - League One
  • 2-0 home defeat to Portsmouth in December 2020 - League One
  • 2-0 home win over Wigan Athletic in September 2020 - League One

FOREST RECORD

The man with the whistle has overseen eight Nottingham Forest fixtures previously, with his last being their 1-1 draw with Burnley in the Premier League last season.

They have won four times when he has been in charge, drawing two and losing the other two.

In total, he has handed out 20 yellow cards and one red this season, awarding one penalty.
