Striker Dennis leaves Torquay United
Louis Dennis salutes after scoring a goal for Torquay
Louis Dennis had a run of eight goals in 10 games between November and December last year

Torquay United striker Louis Dennis has left the National League South club.

Signed by Paul Wotton in May 2025, the 34-year-old had a deal that ran until next summer but had fallen out of favour this season under manager Jimmy Ball and made just two substitute appearances.

The former Bromley and Leyton Orient striker scored 13 goals in his first 22 league appearances for the club up until Boxing Day 2025.

But he found the net just twice more after that - two late goals after coming on as a substitute in a 3-0 win at Weston-Super-Mare on Good Friday.

He was a substitute in Torquay's play-off final loss at Hornchurch in May, but made just two appearances off the bench in August this season.
