Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon is officially active for Sunday's showdown with the New England Patriots, meaning he'll extend his impressive consecutive games played streak.
Nixon missed practice on Thursday and was listed as questionable on the final injury report, putting in danger his streak. But it appears he will play through the injury on Sunday at Gillette Stadium and push his streak one game closer to 100.
Dating back to the end of the 2022 season and including postseason games, Nixon has appeared in 87 straight games. Sunday will be No. 88.
Entering Sunday, Nixon has played in all 80 games (76 regular season, four postseason) for the Packers between the 2022 and 2026 seasons. He has evolved from an All-Pro kickoff returner to starting slot defender to a full-time perimeter cornerback, and he's enjoying his best season in 2026.
According to Pro Football Focus, Nixon has allowed only 287 receiving yards on 334 coverage snaps during the 2026 season. Quarterbacks have a passer rating of 75.4 when targeting Nixon this season.
The Patriots will be without starting receivers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs on Sunday, likely leaving Nixon with matchups against Demario Douglas and Mack Hollins.
