C.J. Gardner-Johnson ejected for spitting at rival

Bills defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson faces potential suspension after being ejected for spitting at a rival.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson finds himself in the middle of controversy and trouble no matter where he goes.

On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills' well-traveled defensive back earned himself an early trip to the locker room.

Gardner-Johnson was ejected from the game against the Las Vegas Raiders for spitting in the direction of tight end Brock Bowers.

Gardner-Johnson was ejected Dec. 22, 2024, while a member of the Philadelphia Eagles for drawing a pair of unsportsmanlike penalties during an eventual loss to the Washington Commanders.

The action could earn Gardner-Johnson a suspension. He definitely will be fined, and that would push his career total in that department over $200,000. He currently has been fined about $195,000 by the NFL.
