Retour
The Pittsburgh Steelers saw a six-year veteran wide receiver and special teams ace return to practice ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
According to Wednesday's practice report, Ben Skowronek, who has missed the past two games due to a calf injury, returned to practice as a limited participant.
Skowronek, who joined the Steelers in 2024, previously played for the Los Angeles Rams (2021–2023) and spent time with the Houston Texans. He has carved out a role as a solid special teamer and vital depth piece as a receiver. In 2026, he has appeared in five games and recorded three catches for 32 yards and one touchdown. He also has played on 77 special teams snaps.
Skowronek suffered his calf injury in the Week 5 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He missed practice over the past two weeks, but his limited participation is good news for a possible return.
His potential return in Week 8 will be a much-welcomed addition to a wide receiver room currently missing Roman Wilson and Michael Pittman Jr., who remain on injured reserve.
