Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten has another TD negated by penalty this season

The Jacksonville Jaguars' penalty issues continue to hurt them as Bhayshul Tuten had his third touchdown negated by penalty this season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have struggled with penalty issues in recent weeks and it came up again during their game against the Houston Texans in London.

It looked like running back Bhayshul Tuten had his third rushing touchdown of the season. Instead, for the third time this year, Tuten had a touchdown negated by penalty.

Here is a look at the holding penalty that was called on tight end Brenton Strange.

Looking at the play, this did not look like a penalty, and it proved to be costly. Not only did it take the touchdown off the board, but Jacksonville ended up turning the ball over two plays later on third-and-goal, leaving them scoreless.

Houston would not end up capitalizing on the turnover, but it still highlights the Jaguars’ issues with penalties and how costly they have been. They also nearly lost their game against the Philadelphia Eagles last week due to their 13 penalties.

Coming into Week 6, the Jaguars were averaging 8.2 penalties per game, the 10th-most in the NFL.
