Henry Cejudo finally got that rematch he was looking for.
The former UFC bantamweight champion, who also held gold at 125 pounds, will defend his Real American Freestyle (RAF) Lightweight Crossover Championship against No. 2-ranked UFC bantamweight contender Song Yadong atop the upcoming RAF 15 fight card on Nov. 28 at NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
This gives Cejudo a chance to avenge his loss to Yadong from UFC Seattle back in early 2025.
Fans on social media are convinced this matchup is a test to see if Yadong can withstand the takedown attack of a superior wrestler, which may influence UFC matchmakers when it comes time to find an opponent for Merab Dvalishvili after UFC 333 this weekend in Abu Dhabi — assuming “The Machine” is victorious.
Yadong was already defeated by current UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan at UFC 299 in early 2024.
Other bouts expected for RAF 15 in Chicago, which airs exclusively on FOX Nation, include former UFC lightweights Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis, as well as Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Clay Guida. In addition, Sergio Pettis collides with Cody Garbrandt while Haley Augello locks horns with Miranda Maverick.
