After their 2-0 win against Genoa, Roma are now focused on Tuesday night’s Champions League match against Slovan Bratislava.
After a completely emergency match, Gasperini hopes to recover some of his players, primarily Paulo Dybala, who sat out the match against the Ligurians due to a strained calf muscle.
According to a report in Corriere dello Sport, published today, the Giallorossi will return to Trigoria today for a recovery session, while tomorrow they will be preparing for the European fixture, which will also feature Gasperini and another Giallorossi player’s press conference.
Dybala could return to training with the group and be on the bench as early as two days from now against Slovan. The Argentine’s goal, however, remains Saturday’s match against Allegri’s Napoli, when Gasperini also hopes to have his striker available from the start.
Bryan Cristante, who is dealing with knee inflammation that prevented him from returning to the pitch after the international break, also has the same goal.
