Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner is finally getting the mansion of her dreams although it isn't quite the one she originally had in mind.

The footballer's wife is preparing to move her family into a sprawling luxury property in Alderley Edge, the exclusive Cheshire village famous for its millionaire footballers and glamorous WAGs.

The stunning mansion, which had reportedly been on the market for £15million before its asking price dropped to £11million, boasts a host of extravagant features, including an indoor swimming pool, private gym, chef-ready kitchen and extensive grounds.

And while things may not be going entirely to plan on the football pitch for Walker, who now plays for Burnley after his Manchester City days, sources say Annie is delighted to have finally secured the family home she has wanted for years.

However, the move comes with one small compromise, Annie had originally set her heart on building a bespoke mansion from scratch, just like her friend and inspiration Coleen Rooney.

A source said: “Annie hasn't got her way with her custom-built mansion and has had to settle for one that was already built in Alderley Edge.

“She has opted for a mansion like her idol Coleen Rooney. She didn't manage to convince Kyle to buy land and build their dream home just like the Rooneys, so she had to settle for one that was already built.

“But she's had the workmen in to do some work and is really excited to be moving in with her family."

The property is understood to sit high on a hill in Alderley Edge, behind the security of a private gated development.

And the interiors are said to be every bit as impressive as the multimillion-pound price tag suggests.

The source added: “It's within a gated community and the interior is highly luxurious. It has a kitchen fitted out for a chef, a private gym, an incredible indoor swimming pool and lots of land.

“It's just up on the hill in Alderley Edge. It's exactly the sort of lifestyle Annie has wanted.”

The move is understood to mark a significant new chapter for the couple following years of turmoil in their marriage over Walker's infidelities. He fathered two children, Kairo,6 and Kinara,3 with Tv Personality Lauryn Goodman.

And according to the insider, Annie has made no secret of what she wants from her husband as they look towards their future together.

The source claimed: “She told Kyle that she wanted a baby girl and wanted a new mansion after everything he had put her through.

“Annie has always wanted more land and felt where they lived didn't have enough. She has been going on about it for years and she's finally got her way.

“With the family extending and more children being added to their brood, their current home just didn't have enough bedrooms. It was the perfect time to move.”

The new address will put Annie firmly in the heart of Cheshire's wealthy footballing set, where multimillion-pound mansions, supercars and designer wardrobes are all part of everyday life.

And insiders claim she has been taking inspiration from fellow WAG Coleen Rooney, who famously stood by husband Wayne through a string of public scandals.

The source said: “She looks up to Coleen for standing by Wayne after his many infidelities and it's worked out fine for her so far. Annie is keen to follow in her footsteps.

“The mansion is bigger than Coleen's, so she feels she has one up on her pal.

“Everyone in the circle is very competitive with their cars and designer bags.”

Alderley Edge has long been one of the most desirable addresses for Premier League stars and their families, thanks to its secluded mansions, luxury boutiques and proximity to Manchester.

But despite the lavish surroundings, Annie is said to be particularly excited about creating a fresh family home where she and Kyle can put the difficulties of recent years behind them. And she reportedly has one important deadline in mind.

“She wants to be in her new home before Christmas,” the source revealed.

“She's told her family not to worry because she holds all the cards now.”

The couple's property ambitions may not stop with the new mansion, either.

Rather than selling their existing home in nearby Prestbury, Annie is reportedly keen to retain it as an investment.

The source added: “Annie is keen to keep their current mansion in Prestbury and rent it out.

“She wants to add more wealth to their property portfolio and sees it as a smart move for their future.”
