Footy Nation Southport offers indoor half-term football fun

Footy Nation, based in Southport, first opened in March and is now welcoming visitors throughout the October school holiday, providing a weather-proof day out following the first storms of the season.

Steve Allen, operations manager at Footy Nation, said: "Half term is always a busy time for families, and with unsettled forecasts, it can be hard to find something that keeps everyone entertained.

"Where better to bring the kids than a skills park dedicated to the beautiful game?

"Whether you’re on the pitch every week or just want to come and give it a go, you’re guaranteed a good time.

"We welcome visitors of every age and skill level, and because we’re fully indoors, it doesn’t matter what the weather does.

"No one is left shivering on the sidelines.

"Parents don’t have to join in either, unless they want to.

"Our café and bar area is a great place to relax with a drink and a bite to eat from our delicious menu while the kids burn off some energy.

"It’s an ideal spot to spend time with family and friends."

The park features a range of football-based challenge games, including Match Ball, Curve Ball, Score Ball, Kick Ball, Spin Ball and Pin Ball.

Each game is designed to test different football skills, such as accuracy, control, reactions and technique.

Sessions last around 60 minutes and cost £14.95 per player, with new sessions starting every ten minutes throughout the day.

While walk-ins are welcome, booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.
