New Zealand come into today's match with a 100% record at this World Cup, although it got off to a wobbly start, as they had to come from behind to beat debutants Fiji 18-12 in their opening game on 18 October - an experience head coach Ricky Henry described as a "wake-up call".
The call was heeded: They ran in 18 tries to demolish France 92-0 in their second game. Apii Nicholls scored four tries, while Stacey Waaka and Mele Hufanga both got hat-tricks. Top spot in Group B was confirmed with eight more tries in a 40-12 victory over Papua New Guinea last Saturday.
