Inter signed Djed Spence and are close to coming to terms with Carlos Augusto, but that hasn’t stopped them from keeping tabs on a few players in such a role for the future, in particular Romano Floriani Mussolini and Pedrinho, Tuttomercatoweb reports.

The former netted his maiden goal against Sassuolo. He has been playing a lot since Adam Marusic got hurt for the high-flying Lazio. He’s under contract only until 2028 with a very low salary, €130k. The Biancocelesti have started discussing an extension and a pay bump to €500k annually, with gradual increases. He spent previous seasons on loan at Pescara, Juve Stabia and Cremonese.

Inter could target Floriani Mussolini in January or next June if they offload Luis Henrique . They’d need to find the right offer, as their outcast wasn’t cheap. The Brazilian has been relegated to a minuscule role since Andy Diouf took over the position. Plus, Spence will play increasingly more after dealing with physical problems.

The Nerazzurri scouted Pedrinho from up close in the last UEFA Champions League fixture. He’s more versatile and offensive-minded, but they have been searching for that kind of player for a while. He has a €25M price tag and has tallied 16 goals and 20 assists in 97 since joining from Atletico Mineiro in 2024.

Our Take on Inter, Floriani Mussolini, and Pedrinho

Henrique has been for sale for multiple windows, and the longer it takes, the more his valuation will decrease. They like to invest in Italian players and can be very convincing economically, but it’d be stunning if Lazio sold their starlet anytime soon.
