Lawrence Shankland walks the plank as Hearts fans unleash boo fest

The Scotland international kicked off an exodus from Tynecastle to Ibrox over the summer after leaving the Jambos for the club he supported as a boy, with manager Derek McInnes and Cammy Devlin later following him west.

Shankland is currently sidelined with a serious hamstring injury but made sure he was in attendance for the Premiership clash.

And the 31-year-old received a hostile reception from the home support as he made his way to a seat behind the Rangers dugout.

Speaking on Sky Sports commentary, Celtic icon Chris Sutton said: "They're all booing him after the service he gave to Hearts?"

Shankland made 171 appearances for Hearts, scoring 88 goals during a prolific four-year spell in Edinburgh.
