Rams suffer major injuries as Cardinals beat, batter them in Week 6

The Arizona Cardinals beat the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday in California 18-16. They also battered and bruised them. The Rams suffered a number of longer-term to season-ending injuries.

How bad were the injuries?

  • Receiver Davante Adams suffered a ruptured hamstring and will miss six to 10 weeks.

  • Kicker Blake Grupe, who hurt his knee trying to tackle Cardinals kick returner Devin Duvernay, tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

  • Defensive tackle Kobie Turner suffered a groin injury and will miss several weeks. He could be headed to injured reserve.

  • Nose tackle Poona Ford suffered a torn triceps. He is done for the season.

Those are four starters for a team now 2-4 and in last place in the NFC West, and this is a team expected to compete for the Super Bowl.

Things haven't been going well for the Cardinals this season, but this season for the Rams is close to becoming a disaster.
