Spalding United were hit by a late Alvechurch fightback as the honours finished even in their FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie on Saturday.
The Tulips had looked set to reach the first round proper for the first time since 1964 when two goals from Dan Jarvis gave them control of the contest.
However, a brace from Miracle Okafor including an injury-time penalty means the two teams will meet again on Tuesday night in a replay in Worcestershire.
The Tulips made two changes to their starting line-up following last week's league loss at Marine with Cybulski and Dion Sembie-Ferris returning from injury.
New loan signing Ejiro Abbey was named on the substitutes' bench but the Tulips were still waiting on international clearance to include Joe Nyahwema.
The visitors had made a strong start to their Southern League Premier Division Central campaign and showed they were prepared to take the game to Spalding in the first half.
A lively opening from both sides saw Sembie-Ferris fire a shot just wide for Spalding before Alvechurch went close as Ben Stephens struck a sweet strike that grazed the top of the crossbar.
Alvechurch then strung together another good move as Jamey Osbourne's Crossfield pass picked out Harry Reilly whose centre found the head of Danny Newton but his effort was safely gathered by Peter Crook in the home goal.
The Tulips then broke the deadlock in the 18th minute with a well-worked move of their own as Dan Barton's pass picked out Jarvis who drilled home a fine finish into the bottom corner of the Alvechurch net.
Jarvis had a shot from a clever Cybulski lay-off deflected over moments later before Alvechurch finished the half strongly.
Miracle Okafor rattled the post with a fine first time shot before going close again as he shrugged off the attentions of Connor Johnson before shooting straight at Crook as the Tulips held onto their one-goal lead going into the break.
On the back of Alvechurch's first half showing, Spalding needed a second goal after the break to tighten their grip on the contest.
And, after a scrappy start to the second half, it duly arrived just past the hour mark as Ben Fowkes' slide-rule pass released Jarvis who rounded goalkeeper Redman Evans to score his second goal of the game.
The goal gave Spalding the boost they needed and appeared to take the wind out of Alvechurch's sails with Jarvis coming close to a third after narrowly failing to connect with a Fowkes cross.
Michael Kelly then brought a flying save out of visiting custodian Evans from a free-kick just outside the penalty area before Alvechurch halved the deficit with seven minutes remaining to set up a tense finish as Okafor turned smartly in the penalty area before driving his finish into the bottom corner.
It gave Alvechurch the boost they needed heading into the latter stages and a foul by goalkeeper Crook in injury time as he attempted to claim a cross saw Alvechurch awarded a penalty which Okafor converted to tie the contest.
Spalding launched a late raid on the visiting goal with Maniche Sani and Ashton Fox both seeing late headers saved as Alvechurch saw out the game to earn another crack at the Tulips.
