Matthew McConaughey has starred in plenty of memorable Hollywood comedies, but the San Antonio Spurs mascot found a way to turn one of the actor’s most recognizable movie moments into a joke at his expense. During the Spurs’ matchup against the Houston Rockets at Austin’s Moody Center, The Coyote presented McConaughey with a Spurs jersey before delivering a punchline that fans of the actor’s romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days would immediately recognize. The mascot held up a sign that read: “Is it a bad time to ask for a Diet Coke?” The answer, of course, was yes.
