Over 19,000 runners took place in this year's Irish Life Dublin Marathon as participants tackled windy conditions in the capital.
Ethiopia's Abay Alemu Lesa won the men's race in 2:10:29, sprinting clear of Sweden's Ebba Chala, with fellow Ethiopian Sahlesilassie Nigussie finishing third.
The first Irish runner home was Mayo man Hugo Armstrong, who finished eighth overall in a time of 2:14:52.
The Ballina AC athlete came out on top after a long duel with Dundrum runner Killian Mooney, who clocked 2:15:44.

Stephen McAuley of Letterkenny AC was the third Irishman across the finish line in 2:16:37.
There was also an Ethiopian winner of the women's race, with Zenebu Fikdau Jebesa dominating proceedings to claim victory in 2:24:26.
Judith Storm of Spartans AC in Derry was crowned the new Irish women's marathon champion.

Storm outsprinted Sorcha Nic Dhomhnaill of West Limerick AC over the final 500m, with Meghan Ryan of Dundrum South Dublin AC finishing third.
Kildare's Patrick Monahan was crowned the Dublin Marathon Wheelchair Champion, winning in a great time of 1:46:03.
The tens of thousands of people taking part had their own personal goals too, of course, with some chasing personal bests, others raising money for causes close to their hearts, and many simply hoping to cross the finish line after months of gruelling training.
