The Miz dealt with numerous problems during his early years in the WWE locker, including the infamous stories of him enduring extreme hazing from the veterans at the time, who didn't consider his entry point into the business through "Tough Enough" as legit. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only time he'd worked the locker room up, as he recounted on WWE Vault how the night he first won tag team gold with John Morrison ended with backstage heat.

"We used to shoot 'ECW' before 'SmackDown,' and so me and John Morrison went on ECW — I think it was a CM Punk match — and we went on commentary and we just ripped it apart, and people were upset about that," he recalled. "Then we go out on this match, and we end up winning the tag titles, and we upset even more people because we were celebrating while the story was supposed to be with the other tag team."

The Miz claimed that he and Morrison were told to celebrate like they "had just won the Superbowl," and considering it was the first time he won gold in WWE, it wasn't hard for him to act excited. However, the locker room took issue with both wrongs taking place on the same night. Despite that, The Miz recalled the tag team being asked to appear on commentary again the next week, meaning the higher-ups were happy with them.

"We were ruffling feathers, a lot of feathers," he recalled. "We started a show called 'The Dirt Sheet' that really, really ruffled feathers. ... 'Going into business for yourself' is what I believe the comment was."

"The Dirt Sheet" ended up being one of WWE's earliest forays into a web show, becoming so popular that WWE brought it into live television.
