Lewis Cook commented on a 3-0 win over Sturm Graz for Bournemouth.

The Cherries claimed a 2-1 victory against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian to kickstart their Europa League campaign last month, and they sustained their 100% winning record on Thursday evening.

Cherries make it two from two

Goals from Evanilson, Rayan and Alvaro Rodriguez gave fans at the Vitality Stadium a night to remember, lifting a little bit of pressure off Marco Rose at the beginning of the 2026/27 campaign.

Still chasing a league win

Bournemouth are still waiting for their first Premier League win under the German, and they were battered 5-1 by Chelsea last week, having conceded two goals in the first three minutes of the match.

Cook, who has been on the journey with the club for over a decade, was delighted for the fans to witness this moment. He hopes that the Cherries can now take this momentum into their next game.

·‘It was a collective effort and a great win’

"I thought the performance was top. It was a special night, you could feel that before the game, when we were all lining up as players. The atmosphere was great. It was a top performance, we bounced back from the weekend and it was something we can be very proud of.

“[Bouncing back] is a positive. There are so many games in a short space of time. If we have a bad game then we've only got a couple of days to get over it and then onto the next one and I thought the lads showed that today and handled themselves well. It is tough with a bad result to come back and do well. Everyone who played today was fantastic and it was a collective effort and a great win.

"It is all new to us. All I know is that when you win games it is good. Hopefully we can use the momentum and carry on."
