The Atlanta Falcons made some last minute tweaks to their roster ahead of Sunday's NFC South matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. First, the team ruled out cornerback Billy Bowman Jr. and linebacker Divine Deablo.

Both players sat out last weekend against the San Francisco 49ers and were listed as questionable on Atlanta's final Week 8 injury report. With Deablo out, the Falcons will turn to rookie Kendal Daniels to wear the green dot on defense.

Daniels had a breakout performance in Week 7, recording two turnovers including the game-clinching interception in the fourth quarter. Atlanta will also look to rookie linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. to start alongside Daniels on Sunday against the Buccaneers.

The Falcons also announced two practice squad elevations for some extra reinforcements. According to the team, running back Khalil Herbert and linebacker Brian Asamoah will join the team's 53-man roster in Week 8. Both players were elevated last week, and it's no surprise to see them back with the injuries at linebacker and running back.

Herbert will replace Brian Robinson Jr., who was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Check out the team's updated 53-man roster and practice squad for NFL Week 8 below.
