Full Nets injury report for Saturday's matchup at the Hawks

The Brooklyn Nets are coming off their best performance of the season after beating the Charlotte Hornets 114-104 on Wednesday in a game where the Nets played well for all 48 minutes. Brooklyn has been relatively healthy this season with the majority of the rotation intact through the first eight games of the campaign, but they will still be missing a crucial member of the unit.

The Nets announced on Friday that guard Egor Demin will remain out of the lineup for Saturday's game at the Atlanta Hawks as he continues to recover from his right leg bone bruise. Demin suffered his injury in a 125-124 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics on Oct. 27 after playing just 10 minutes in the contest, but Brooklyn said that he would be reevaluated in one week from Oct. 29.

Based on the timeline, the Nets will likely give an update on Demin at some point on Saturday, but given that he has been ruled out for the game, it seems like he'll need more time to recover from his injury. With Demin out of the rotation, Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez has been turning to players like Chaney Johnson and Terance Mann for some production at the guard spot.

Moving on with the injury report, the Nets will also be without Ben Saraf and Grant Nelson along with rookies Joshua Jefferson and Tyler Bilodeau as they remain on their G League assignments. Forward Noah Clowney, who missed the second half of Wednesday's win over the Hornets due to right knee soreness, is not on the injury report so it seems like he's good to go despite the ailment.

For the Hawks, forwards Jalen Johnson (ankle) and Asa Newell (toe) along with center Jock Landale (hip) were ruled out for their NBA Cup game against the Washington Wizards on Friday so it's possible that those players could miss Saturday's game as well. No matter who is available for Atlanta on Saturday, the Nets will still have to play at their best if they're going to extend their winning streak to two games.
