Detroit Lions fans, media react to Week 6 NFL action
Lions Wire

With Detroit (3-2) on a bye in Week 6, fans and media got to enjoy plenty of scoreboard watching elsewhere. Unfortunately for Lions fans, both of the two NFC North teams in action—the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers—picked up Week 6 victories.

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams made his return to play after a three-week injury absence, passing for 305 yards and a touchdown. Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw for 276 yards and a touchdown pass to Matthew Golden. Golden finished with six grabs for 104 yards to lead Green Bay.

With those results, the Lions are currently in last place in the NFC North standings, though they sit just a half game behind both the Bears and Packers.

Elsewhere, the Arizona Cardinals made the Lions' most recent win look a lot better. The Cardinals downed the preseason darling Los Angeles Rams, 18-16, with a walk-off, 43-yard field goal from Chad Ryland.
